Structure
The window frame is constructed of three layers of properly prepared timber. Each layer is glued to another in such a way that their rings are arranged alternately. This makes the construction material is highly resistant to warping, twisting and mechanical deformations. As a result, the frame is stable and resistant to temperature and humidity changes.
Basic profile depth
Even the basic profile of 68 mm ensures better stability than comparable traditional and plastic windows. Good acoustics of such structure is also of great importance. The windows are equipped with a standard single-chamber glazing unit but it is possible to mount a dual-chamber unit with a maximum thickness of 32 mm, with significantly improved thermal insulation performance. Such glass unit makes the window acoustics properties even better.
Windows can be really big
Due to the strong, layered structure of the frame and high-end hardware, it is possible to construct a very large window surfaces. Tilt and turn window may be 1.6 m wide and up to 3 m high. Windows without the opening function (known as fixed glazing) may come in even larger sizes. And if you are looking for really large glazing.
They can also keep the heat in
By using energy saving glazing i.e. filled with noble gas and fitted with warm frames, the windows of our basic offer comply with the requirements for thermal insulation. The best heat transfer coefficient Uw that can be achieved for the system of 68 mm is 1.0 W/m2K. The use of thicker window profiles (Thermo 78, Exterm 88) can significantly improve this parameter.
Comfort of use
Top-class hardware is hidden under the beauty of nature. It ensures unchanging and comfortable operation of the mechanisms over the years. Thanks to it the use of windows is convenient, even when opening large surfaces. This element really affects the durability of the whole window because good hardware prevents unnecessary stress and hold the sash in the right position.
In our windows hardware by SIEGENIA and ROTO is installed. With automatic sash assembly line the installation is carried out perfectly (read more about the technology here). As standard each window is equipped with Hoppe handle with Secustik® security. On request, we use anti-theft hardware systems of RC1 and RC2 classes for break-in protection.
The windows can also be equipped with stepped tilt, electric drives, opening brakes, a ventilator can be installed or the position of the handle changed. There is also the possibility of using concealed hardware which makes sash hinges are not visible. We also offer solutions for the safety of children. When choosing the tilt first system, you may only tilt the window, and the opening function requires the use of a key. As a result, you can be calm about your children.
Beauty in nature
Wood can be stained in various colours and shades, at the same time preserving its visible woodgrains and authentic appearance of this noble material. When needed, it can be painted opaque for the desired effect of the interior design or appearance of the facade. The possibility of using different colours on the inner and outer side allows you to preserve the style of the facade and customise the interior
Components are covered with top-quality Teknos GORI lacquers using 4-layer technology. Each layer performs a special function, such as closing the pores of wood, reducing discolouration, ensuring proper adhesion of layers as well as mechanical ans chemical resistance. With the process of automatic application, windows that look like new for years are produced in the currently most modern paint shop in Poland.
Various forms of wood
Our offer also includes three kinds of wood forms on the inside. The contemporary-style, simple Modern, softly rounded Smart and classic, with delicate, decorative milling Smart+. All of the above aluminium versions can be independently combined, giving 24 individual combinations to choose from!
Elegant shapes
We love wooden windows for their appearance. Depending on your preferences you can choose one of several shapes of frameworks. From classic and delicate Softline, through elegant Retro,, to simple and contemporary Modern.
The beautiful frameworks can be complemented by top-class HOPPE handles. As standard we install aluminium handles, one- or two-sided (patio handles), lockable, whose colour can be matched e.g. to the colour of interior door handles at home.
Glazing and muntins
Windows can be customized. There are different types of glass, decorative details mounted on the frame and muntins. Window separators may be structural (dividing panes of glass), inside glass or glued on glass. The latter solution is economically beneficial and does not impair the thermal insulation properties of the window. All muntins may take various shapes, including circles and arcs, or may be joined at different angles. Create as you wish!
Available glazing packets
The maximum depth of glazing in this case is 32 mm. As a standard, we install single-chamber double-glazing packet – with Uw coefficient - 1.1W/m2K. Optionally, in this case 3-glass packets may be used.
Also safe glass (it does not pose a threat to the household members when it breaks), anti-theft, toughened and sound-absorbing glass is available.
Classic with a modern twist
The profile can also be adapted to the requirements of historic buildings by installing stylized wood carved ornaments, decorative mouldings, window battens or drip edges. Everything customised to your needs. On request, we also prepare documentation for a conservator.
Additional protection
On the outside, the windows are additionally protected against water and the sun. In the most exposed to nature places we use aluminium drip caps. In addition to increasing the durability of construction, with the drip caps we can shape out wooden windows in a variety of ways. There are two versions to choose from - it can be smooth and classic Softline or simple and contemporary Modern.
